What does GoSafety.ai actually do?

GoSafety.ai combines crew timekeeping, safety forms, PDF form import, voice-assisted field capture, and OSHA injury workflows in one offline-capable iOS app. Instead of running one app for timecards and another for safety paperwork, crews handle both in the same system.

Who is GoSafety.ai built for?

GoSafety.ai is built for small to mid-size US construction contractors, including general contractors, specialty trades, and subcontractors, that run iPhone or iPad crews and want one system for field paperwork, crew hours, and compliance workflows.

Do I need a separate timekeeping app and safety app?

No. GoSafety combines clock-in and clock-out, injury attestation, daily reports, inspections, and PDF-based safety workflows in one product.

Does GoSafety.ai work without cell service or WiFi?

Core field workflows are offline-capable. Crews can keep capturing data locally and the app syncs when service returns. Some transcription and AI-assisted features may require an internet connection.

What devices does GoSafety.ai run on?

GoSafety.ai is built for iPhone and iPad, and managers use the web console in a browser.

Is GPS required?

No. GPS can be enabled when you want location verification for clock-in, clock-out, or a submission, but it is not required for every workflow.

Does GoSafety.ai continuously track employee location?

No. GoSafety.ai captures point-in-time GPS snapshots for workflows such as clock-in, clock-out, or a form submission rather than continuous background tracking.

Can I use our existing OSHA forms and PDF templates, or do I have to rebuild everything?

You can upload existing fillable PDFs and GoSafety extracts the fields into a mobile-friendly workflow. For scanned or image-based PDFs, AI-assisted extraction can help convert the form.

How does AI voice dictation work for filling out forms?

Workers speak naturally, and GoSafety uses secure transcription and AI processing to turn that speech into structured field data. Depending on the workflow, audio or transcript data may be processed by GoSafety and trusted providers to generate the result.

Can we add custom site diagrams or body diagrams to our forms?

Yes. GoSafety supports uploaded SVG plans and diagrams for markable checklist fields, so teams can embed site plans, equipment diagrams, or body maps directly into a form.

What safety form types does GoSafety.ai support?

GoSafety.ai supports custom digital checklists and PDF-based workflows. Current forms support configurable fields, photos, signatures, GPS capture, and related jobsite context such as location and weather snapshots.

How do OSHA 300 and 300A reporting work?

GoSafety.ai maintains a running OSHA 300 case log and can generate a 300A summary from recordable cases. In the current version, hours worked and average employee counts on the 300A still need to be completed manually.

What happens when an employee reports an injury at clock-out?

The clock-out flow records the injury attestation and can feed the incident into the broader OSHA injury workflow, reducing the gap between timekeeping and safety reporting.

How is GoSafety.ai different from SafetyCulture?

SafetyCulture is primarily an inspections and audit platform. GoSafety.ai focuses on construction crews that want timekeeping, injury attestation, safety forms, PDF form import, and OSHA workflows in one iOS stack.

How is GoSafety.ai different from busybusy?

busybusy is best known for GPS timekeeping. GoSafety.ai pairs timekeeping with a deeper safety and documentation layer, including PDF form workflows, voice-assisted capture, and OSHA injury tracking.

How is GoSafety.ai different from SiteDocs?

SiteDocs is construction-focused safety software. GoSafety.ai differs by combining safety workflows with crew timekeeping so contractors do not have to run a separate time clock system.

How is GoSafety.ai different from Fulcrum?

Fulcrum is a flexible field data collection platform. GoSafety.ai is more opinionated for construction: iOS crew workflows, timekeeping, PDF form handling, injury attestation, and OSHA reporting in one product.

What do I need to get started?

An iPhone or iPad deployment, your crew roster, and any existing PDF forms you want to bring in. Most teams start by configuring timekeeping, uploading forms, and deciding where GPS should be used.
